Contact us
One address, read by a person. Corrections especially welcome.
[email protected] We aim to reply within a few days. There is no contact form because we do not want to collect your details — email keeps it simple and private.
What to write to us about
Something looks wrong
A timing that does not match your oven, a quantity that reads oddly, a step that does not make sense, or a safety point we have got wrong. Corrections go straight to the top of the pile — tell us the page and what happened.
A recipe or answer you want
If you searched for something and we did not have it, that is useful to know. Tell us what you were trying to cook or work out and we will look at adding it.
Using our content
Permission to reproduce a recipe, quote more than a short extract, or use one of our images. Ask and we will usually say yes with a credit and a link.
Anything else
Questions about how we work, our sources, or the site itself. See our recipe standards first — it may already answer it.
If you are reporting a mistake
The more specific the better. Including the page address, the line that looks wrong, and what you saw or expected lets us check and fix it in one go rather than three emails.
We would genuinely rather be corrected than be wrong — accuracy matters more to us than page count, and every fix makes the next reader's dinner better.
Before you write
- Our recipe standards — how pages are researched, written and labelled.
- About CooksGuide — who we are and what the site is for.
- Privacy policy — what happens to an email you send us.
- Search — in case the answer is already here.
